Apostle Laverne Simpson is the Senior Pastor and Founder of Affirming Love Ministries, Detroit, Michigan.  She is also the Presiding Prelate of Affirming Love Ministries Kenya and Uganda.  Apostle Simpson is the spouse to her wife Kimberly of seven years.  She is a mother to three, bonus mum/dadi to six, granny/g-paw to eight, and spiritual mum/dad to many. Besides being a senior pastor, she is a Certified Nursing Assistant with a degree in Medical Administration as well as a professional in Cosmetology, Financial Leadership and Counseling, Small Business Management Entrepreneurship, and Religious Studies. In addition to her spiritual work, Apostle Simpson is a writer, singer, director, producer, motivational speaker and inspirer. She enjoys bowling.
